This paper has studied the element of workforce diversity and which strategies are to be adopted to minimize this element. For these software industries to succeed (more than they already have), the workforce must be content with the organization policies. The information examined has brought into light ways in which Human Resource policies and practices may be used to influence the workforce. This study has led to the idea that there is one best approach in which Human Resource management should be applied. Moreover, this approach has a positive effect on organizational performance. Review investigating how Human Resource strategies can be aligned with wider organizational goals has also been examined. It has been proven that core success is determined by the software professionals themselves. Human Resource has an important role in supporting organizational strategy by first supporting the software professionals’ interests.
To conclude, the contribution that Human Resource managers may make to an organization’s performance and effectiveness is closely linked by how much attention they give to the software professionals and their ability to minimize workforce diversity. As an emerging economy, India faces the challenge of sustaining its impressive growth rates for the years to come. India has the opportunity to position itself at the forefront of future economic growth as a principal international hub for investment, human capital and invention. The country’s growth rate remains among the strongest in the world, powered mainly by rise in domestic demand.
Indian software companies have a large workforce but high employee turnover. Despite this, they are among the leading software suppliers worldwide but not the best yet. To improve its position, Indian software companies need to balance the foundations of its growth to adopt strategies and practices that can help it sustain high growth rates far into the future. Variations outlined above cause workforce diversity and need to be examined, initialized and effected. The nature of hierarchy, status, authority, and responsibility amongst Human Resource managers should not be a primary factor. As the Indian economy is evolving and emerging, the interest of both researchers and policy makers continues to grow regarding what kind of Human Resource management strategies are relevant for Indian software companies and how effective they are. Given the scarcity of robust Human Resource practices research, the research solutions addressed in this study are very relevant.
